When You Need Help Right Now

A severe storm can change everything in minutes. A fallen tree on a roof, a hanging limb over a power line, a blocked driveway preventing emergency vehicle access. These aren't situations where you can wait for a scheduled appointment. We get that.

Michiana sees serious weather: derecho-strength winds in summer, heavy wet snow in spring and fall, and ice storms that can bring down even healthy mature trees. When it happens, call us. We prioritize true emergencies involving structures, live wires, or blocked access, and we'll give you an honest ETA.

We also work directly with homeowners and insurance companies on storm damage documentation, making the claims process easier.

  • Tree on house, garage, fence, or vehicle
  • Hanging or partially fallen branches (widowmakers)
  • Tree blocking road, driveway, or emergency access
  • Root ball lifting with tree at risk of falling
  • Storm-split trunks with immediate hazard
  • Trees touching or near downed power lines
  • Flooding-compromised trees at risk of collapse
How It Works

What Happens When You Call

01

You Call, We Respond

Call us any time, day or night. We'll assess the situation over the phone, dispatch a crew for true emergencies, and give you an honest arrival window. No automated systems, no hold queues.

02

Hazard Assessment

Our first priority on arrival is safety. We assess the full scene including live wires, structural damage, and unstable trees before any work begins. If utilities are involved, we coordinate with Indiana Michigan Power.

03

Immediate Mitigation

We secure the immediate hazard first: removing the tree from the structure, clearing the access way, cutting back the hanging limb. We stabilize before we clean up.

04

Full Cleanup and Report

Once safe, we complete the job and haul everything. We provide written documentation of work performed for insurance claims and can schedule follow-up stump grinding or full cleanup if needed.

Common Questions

Emergency Tree Service FAQs

Do not touch the tree or the line. Call Indiana Michigan Power at 1-800-311-4634 immediately. They handle line clearance. Once the line is safe, call us for the tree work. We do not work on trees in contact with energized lines.
No. Until the tree is removed and the structural integrity of the roof is verified, stay out of that area of the home. A damaged roof can collapse further. Call us and your insurance company at the same time.
If the tree fell on a covered structure such as your home, garage, or attached deck, your homeowner's policy almost certainly covers removal and damage repair, subject to your deductible. If the tree fell without hitting a structure, most policies do not cover removal. We provide full documentation for claims.
For true emergencies involving structures or live hazards, we aim to respond within 2 to 4 hours. After a major storm, demand is high and response may take longer. We'll be upfront about our queue. For non-critical situations, we'll schedule you as soon as possible.
If a healthy neighbor's tree falls on your property due to a storm, your insurance covers damage on your side. If the tree was visibly dead or diseased and the neighbor was notified in writing, they may be liable. We can document the tree's condition to support a claim.
